MKTG 460 | EVENT AND SPORT MARKETING (3)

This course explores how to successfully promote events, festivals, conventions, and exhibitions. It looks at electronic strategies and how to fund, budget, promote and advertise these events. Future trends and key issues such as how to reach new event attendees will also be examined. Special attention will be devoted to a particular kind of events: sports events. The course will examine the complex and diverse nature of sports marketing and by adopting a strategic perspective, a framework will be given to help explain and organize the sports marketing process.
